Surprising Facts You Didn’t Know About Elon Musk’s Kids

The love affairs of “I’m-Buying-Twitter-Oh-Wait-I’m-Not,” Elon Musk, are as impressive in their scope as his remarkably big brain. He’s played the field for decades, and let’s just say the virility of his “boys” is off the charts. How else would you explain the fact that Elon Musk is a father to not one, not two, but nine children?

He’s got twins, triplets, surrogate kids, and a few little ones with weird names. There’s something for everyone! Now let’s see what his offsprings are all about.

Nevada

The firstborn of our excentric millionaire and writer Justine Wilson, named Nevada, was born in 2002. That’s about the time when Musk founded SpaceX. The name of the businessman’s first son is rarely mentioned in the media because Nevada passed away mere weeks after his birth.

Griffin and Xavier

To prevent the previous tragedy from happening again, Musk and his first wife decided to resort to the IVF procedure. And so, in 2004, they were blessed with twins — Griffin and Xavier. Griffin Musk followed in his father’s footsteps and is now also involved in scientific activities and rarely appears at public events, so there is little information about his personal life.

But Xavier has serious disagreements with his father. Recently, Musk’s 20-year-old son announced his gender change. According to Vivian (Xavier’s new name), she wants nothing to do with her biological father.

Damian, Saxon, and Kai

Elon and Justine did not stop at two kids. After some time, the couple tried the IVF procedure again, and it was a great success. In 2006, three more sons were added to the Musk family roster — Damian, Saxon, and Kai.

Now the boys are 18 years old, and they do not seem to enjoy being in the spotlight and spent most of their teenage years learning new stuff at school.

Their nanny had a curious story to tell. According to her, Damian, Saxon, and Kai surprised her with an unusual request. The nanny said that the boys were very polite and asked to order snacks from a special healthy food joint. Musk’s sons were taking their health very seriously at that age, which is not what kids usually do.

X Æ A-12

This is not a random set of symbols, believe it or not, but the name of Elon Musk’s sixth child. In 2020, Musk and a famously extravagant singer Grimes had a son, which they lovingly named X Æ A-12. The boy’s name stirred up quite a Twitter storm a few years ago.

As the couple explained, X stands for the unknown variable; Æ – from the fictional Elvish language is transcribed as AI (artificial intelligence) and means “love” in Japanese. A-12 is a reference to the American Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft, whatever that may be. As a result, the boy’s name was recorded in the documents as X-Ai A-Twelve. After all, according to the law in the USA, it is forbidden to use symbols from another language for documents.

Exa Dark Sideræl

With the seventh child, Musk decided to go all in on the weird name thing. If you thought the names Xavier or Saxon were unusual, wait till you hear about Exa Dark Sideræl. That is the actual name of Elon’s only daughter, born in December 2021 to a surrogate mother. “Exa” refers to the supercomputer term exaFLOPS, “Dark” means “unknown,” and “Sideræl” is an elvish spelling of the word “Sidereal.” Whatever that means, it sounds cool.

Mysterious Twins

In November 2021 (right before Sideræl was born), Musk’s subordinate — the 36-year-old co-worker at the Neuralink company Siobhan Zilis gave birth to twin boys. And yes, Elon was the father.

Musk has been hiding the fruits of his infidelity for a long time. However, he recently confirmed to Page Six that this is true. And to top it off, Elon promised that he’s not going to stop at nine kids. But maybe next time, Mr. Musk, don’t go cheating on your hot wife with your co-worker? That would be swell.
